The Bonfire Patio Peach Tree (Prunus persica ‘Bonfire’) is a deciduous small patio ornamental tree. Despite being small in stature, Bonfire is a reliable sturdy patio tree. Fragrant double pink flowers emerge in early spring making this the absolute star of your patio or garden. Bonfire is a beautiful feature even when not in bloom, the long leaves emerge brilliant red in spring and darken to burgundy to keep the tree pretty through summer. Bonfire will get a slight tint of orange in fall, too. Bonfire produces clingstone fruits with firm red tinted white flesh, fruit is mostly used for canning, pickling, and pies. Pro Tips:

• Fill pots with a packaged nursery mix (non-soil mix) that drains well and doesn't become compacted over time. Don't overpack the mix when planting.
